Thank you for visiting our web site.
We are very excited to announce the opening of Chef Daniel's Restaurant and Wine Bar. We are located at 108 North Magnolia Ave. one block north off the downtown square. You will find us on the ground floor level of the Historic Marion Hotel, a landmark of our fine city. Many older residents had their school prom in the Grand old Ballroom and today it is still used for business luncheons, other functions, special events and of course, a great place to have a wedding reception!(Reminder: Chef Daniel and his staff are available for all occasion catering... no event too small or too large. We work with all budgets.)
What to Expect-
Expect Gourmet and Country French Cuisine that is true to the region of France along with
Daniel's own personal expressions and interpretations. (Regular menu changes)
Expect- Northern California cuisine that is inspired by Alice Waters, the founder of California cuisine.
Friday and Saturday are 'Gourmet Nights': Reservations are preferred, however, open seating is available. Reservations available from 5pm through 9:00pm. Gourmet Menu
Expect 2 fix priced 3 - course menus. You will have a choice of appetizers, main course and tempting desserts - all included for one price. Of course, you may order ala cart if you wish.
Let our staff know if you have any dietary restrictions, as each selection is cooked to order.
Expect good service in a family friendly atmosphere. The service is a European mix with the charm and manners of the south. Daniel is devoted to training and education of his staff, so they can enhance their personal knowledge and therefore, provide the fine art of service to our guests. Daniel is committed to our local economy and uses local growers in season.
Expect Artesian wines that have been chosen from France and California. Our wines are from small boutique wineries with exceptional qualities that pair well with our cuisine. All wines are offered by the glass, so you may try a new wine you might not otherwise choose, if you had to purchase a bottle you are not familiar with. Wine List

The Wine Bar
Expect Artesian wines form France and California and a wonderful collection of dessert wines, Daniels favorite is from Provence located in the Dentiel Mountains( broken teeth) Beaune de Venice. Daniel says," It is like drinking a glass of flowers." We will also serve a unique selection of Micro brew beers.
